Taptu receives Global Community Award at Mobile Monday Peer Awards in Barcelona

BARCELONA, Mobile World Congress (February 12, 2008)

Taptu, the mobile search & share engine launched in October 2007, was awarded the Mobile Monday Global Community Award yesterday evening. Jari Tammisto, CEO of Mobile Monday, presented the award to Bob Last, VP Business Development at Taptu at the Espacio Movistar in Barcelona.

Steve Ives, CEO and co-founder of Taptu, said “We’re delighted to receive this award from the MoMo chapters, who represent some of the leading thinkers and innovators in mobile today – It’s an honour to be recognized in this way.
