Rich Media Technology for BREW Brings New Ways of Developing Interactive Rich Media Experience for Mobile Phones

Streamezzo, a leading provider of rich media software solutions and platforms for mobile communications, today announced that its Rich Media Client is now available and fully certified for BREW – Qualcomm's open source application development platform for wireless devices.

Streamezzo’s Rich Media Client offers the low memory footprint, high performance and compelling features needed to create and deploy innovative rich media services on BREW handsets.  As a result of today’s announcement, carriers can now expand their application and service portfolio, spurring increased subscriber adoption of rich media services and helping to accelerate data services revenue growth.

Streamezzo’s BREW-certified client is available for an expansive selection of mobile devices from leading handset manufacturers, such as Motorola, Nokia, LG and Samsung, with support for an array of in-demand applications, such as Interactive Mobile TV, music players, on-device portals and dynamic user interfaces.  These interactive rich media applications and more can be developed using Streamezzo’s Rich Media development environment - Workbench.
