Revolt Technology AS Appoints Ram Malhotra as CEO

Revolt Technology AS has appointed Mr. Ram P. Malhotra as Chief Executive Officer. The company has developed a rechargeable Metal-air (Zinc-air) battery, which represents a breakthrough in battery performance with a substantially higher energy density at a competitive price compared to other rechargeable batteries. Mr Malhotra will work closely with the board and Venture Capital investors to develop and grow the company, and strengthen Revolt's position as an emerging key player in the mobile battery technology market.

Ram has extensive international sales and high technology manufacturing experience gained in the consumer electronic, automotive and mobile phone handset markets. Before joining Revolt, Ram was COO and Vice President of Mikron AG, Switzerland where he was directing their Components business in Asia and managing the joint ventures in China and Malaysia. Prior to this, Ram was Director Asia with Amphenol Inc responsible for the mobile phone and automotive markets. Ram managed the transfer of production to Asia for Nokia, Motorola and SonyEricsson components. Ram has also held senior management positions in Altec International Inc. and Dow Chemical Europe. Ram has been instrumental in developing profitable manufacturing and international expansion strategies and leading sales efforts in Europe, Asia and the USA.
The Forsyth Group conducted the search for Mr. Malhotra.
