Esmertec and MontaVista Software to deliver integrated Java-Linux solutions for mobile phones

Duebendorf-Zurich, Switzerland and Sunnyvale, CA, USA, January 28, 2005 – Esmertec™ and MontaVista® Software have entered into a strategic alliance to provide Java™-Linux® software platform solutions for mobile phones.

Esmertec’s Jbed™ Advanced multitasking J2ME-platform atop MontaVista Linux Consumer Electronics Edition, delivers a fully optimized, open, reliable and interoperable solution for mobile handset and wireless semiconductor vendors.
