Cellzome appoints Dr Jane Dancer as VP Business Development

Boston, 7th January 2008 - Cellzome Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Dancer PhD, MBA as VP Business Development effective immediately.

Dr Dancer has until recently been Director, Business Development at MedImmune Ltd (formerly Cambridge Antibody Technology (CAT)) where she was responsible for negotiating in- and out-licensing activity in relation to CAT’s core technology and patents. This included being part of the team that negotiated the major strategic alliance with AstraZeneca that subsequently led to the acquisition of CAT in 2006. Before joining CAT in 2002, she was with Aventis Crop Science as a Global Project Manager (2000-2001), and with AgrEvo UK Ltd (1990-1999), formerly Schering Agrochemicals Ltd, where she rose to become Team Leader responsible for leading multidisciplinary project teams within the research and early development process.

She has an MBA from The Judge Institute of Management Studies, University of Cambridge and a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
