7TM Pharma hires experienced Director of Business Development and Medical Director

Hørsholm – September 27, 2007:
7TM Pharma A/S announces the hiring of Arvind M. Hundal, PhD as Director of Business Development and the hiring of Niels Ole Jensen, MD as Medical Director.

Arvind has in depth scientific background and insight particularly within gastrointestinal area combined with a vast broad experience in identifying, negotiating and managing new collaborative projects”.
With a scientific background in molecular biology, Arvind has worked for numerous years in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries firstly in drug discovery then later in a business development role, holding a diverse number of positions including; University College London Roche and AstraZeneca.

Christian E. Elling, Director of Development of 7TM Pharma, said: “We welcome Niels Ole Jensen, MD, to the 7TM Pharma team. With Niels Ole’s significant experience within clinical drug development including the commercial aspects of biotech versus Pharma, his seasoned input will be a valuable addition to our clinical development activities, a key aspect in the further growth of our company”.

Niels Ole Jensen is a MD and a specialist in neurology. He has 15 years of experience from a number of Danish hospitals primarily focused on neuromedicine. Niels Ole Jensen moved into the pharmaceutical industry holding positions as Medical Director in Ercopharm, NeuroSearch and ALK Abelló and has been responsible for the planning and execution of Phase I-IV clinical trials, handling of regulatory affairs as well as marketing support and product profiling. Since 2004 he worked as Scientific Manager in the Corporate Business Development Group in ALK-Abelló.
